Absolutely fabulous and comfortable units with a mini-fridge, wonderful views of the castle, as example, and the staff were informative! The location for Penafiel was impressive, just off the center of the village, the typically Spanish old town centre and the wonderful Peñafiel castle.

All the rooms are great-sized with amazing castle view and the staff are excellent. The hotel offers particularly good and incredible location minutes from Penafiel downtown.

Beautiful hotel, very well restored/renovated. Similar to some of the best Paradors in standard but better. More personal and friendly. Outdoor pool and spa area were excellent and very clean. Food in the restaurant was differnt and very good. The wine list - located in the middle of the Duero valley was ideal!Couldnt fault it.

It was conveniently situated near some interesting local wineries, making it a perfect choice for wine enthusiasts like us. The service was impeccable, with friendly staff always available to assist us. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, providing enhanced comfort. The hotel offered a variety of amenities, such as a spa & wellness centre, outdoor swimming pool, and jacuzzi, ensuring that we were able to relax and unwind. We also enjoyed the delicious buffet breakfast with a wide selection of options. it was a memorable experience.
